March Progressive Events

This is a big political month in Illinois with the Primary Election on March 20th. But note- Early voting has already started and will end March 15th.

Thanks to the candidates and the many attendees who showed up for our “Meet the Candidate night” last month. We have some great candidates and I hope you take a minute to learn more about them before you vote. See below.

I want to let you know there will NOT be a regular RPM meeting in March and April. There are lots of events to participate in this month including candidate fundraisers, Obama for America HQ open house in Rockford, and a Move-on Rally at Chase Bank to encourage resolution of underwater mortgages. See below for details for all of these events.

Instead of holding our regular monthly meeting, RPM is assisting with a workshop sponsored by local organizations to raise awareness of food in the US. The “Faith at the End of Your Fork” full day workshop will take place on Sat. April 28th. Mark your calendar and attend this multi-organizational sponsored event. See below for details.
